The Country House

stands in Cañaveral, the first town of the Vía de la Plata, in the way towards the North, just past the Alcántara marsh, in the province of Cáceres. As it indicates his name, it was originally an old inn located in the Camino Real de la Mesta,important route of transhumancia.

And in this days as it did long time ago, the country house goes on with the same business, thanks to the road and the railway.
